World Central Kitchen outpost serves 85,000 meals to essential workers

To support New York City’s frontline workers, we partnered with José Andrés’ global organization World Central Kitchen to provide free meals at 55 Hudson Yards and support the local community. Thanks to all the tireless volunteers and the incredible generosity of family, friends, individuals and neighbors like Wells Fargo, the WCK outpost has served 85,000 meals and raised over $1.6 million to date.

Frontline workers honored Wednesdays at Rosemary Square

To thank frontline and medical workers for their dedication and service, Rosemary Square invites them to enjoy its lush public spaces from two reserved tables next to The Wishing Tree every Wednesday. Frontline and medical workers can also order takeout from any of Rosemary Square's restaurants and then Guest Services Ambassadors will deliver the meals directly to them.

American pop artist Donald Robertson shows his playful approach in new work at The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards, part of the larger ongoing “Off the Wall” installation curated by Culture Corps. His made-for-social-media piece Love Thy Selfie consists of colorful walls scribbled with titles like “almost famous” that look penned in permanent marker, encouraging viewers to relate, engage and snap photos.

In a former Macy’s location, Rosemary Square created the Culture Lab, open from November 2017 through April 2019, serving as a rotating showcase of interactive art installations designed to be experienced by all five senses. The eclectic series of exhibitions ranged from an immersive visual and audio installation by Stephen Vitiello to a series of dreamy, woven hammocks by Ioanna Pantazopoulou.
